Lately i have been experimenting on keywords and how to get good traffic using them. Few months ago, i posted a Pinay Scandal and how could it give me good traffic. Well it did. It got me some decent traffic. Today I'm going to do it again on a different keyword.

When i was on my high school days, i remember opening those sites and i confess i did saw many of them. It was the time when i still got those raging hormones on me. Keywords are typically two to five word phrases you expect people to search for to find your website, right? Keywords are phrases you want your website to be found under. Keywords are not about what you call your stuff. Keywords are what you think other average surfer (or your prospective site visitors) may type in a search box. Well, not everyone is perfect. From time to time, users also get wrong in typing the keywords for the topic they are looking for. A user sometime tends to type misspelled keywords in the search bar and is not aware of what he/she is typing at. Also, every user does not want to look for the wrong item or wrong keywords, right?

As a site owner, what can you do with it? You usually do not want to use misspelled keywords in your body or page title as they will look somewhat unprofessional. It can however help you to add misspelled keywords to the meta keywords tag.

When searching for misspelled keywords, some search engines use “Did you mean…” pages, focusing the page title and heading tag on the misspelled versions of the keyword. Finally, i have crack the top five of the keyword pinoy money talk on google. For almost two weeks, i have been going in and out of the top ten and mostly on the 11- 35 place. But now, i have made it to the top 4 in google. This google is a google with no .ph extension, just a plain Google.com. Now, there is only 3 more weeks before the judgement day. Donts on Onpage Optimization

There are many factors why Google would ban your website. I think these two are some reasons why Google would ban your site. There is the onpage and an offpage optimization. When you say onpage, it is something that you did on your website, somewhat like editing the colors and something like that. While the offpage is what you did outside your website and optimize it to get a better ranking on the search engines. So, what are the donts on onpage optimization that will cause your website to get banned on Google?

The following are the donts:

• Hidden Text

• Alt Image spamming

• Meta tag spamming

• And Title tag spamming

What is hidden Text? Hidden Text is simply text that users can't see when they visit your webpage. Some webmasters will do this so that they can add keywords throughout their webpage without it interfering with what the visitors actually see. Yet, the search engines can still see hidden text. For example, let's say you have a white background on your website. If you wanted to hide text, you would simply make the color of your text white (#FFFFFF) and users couldn't see it.

What is Image Spamming? This is another way that people will try to cram keywords into their website, allowing search engines to see their keywords, but not allowing visitors to notice any difference in their website. Just like this one.

What is Meta tag Spamming? Why blog? I think blog is for everybody. For everyone who wants to read a lot, for those people who loves to surf the net and to met other people as well. Everybody can benefit from it. People who like to learn, people like to hear what you think and people who like opinions. So how does can somebody create a good blog and be a successful blogger?

I have read and searched for some Internet marketing professionals, which I think are credible and offer free advice. And i have learned from them to focus to these things and consider the following.

1. Content is King -> The content of your blog is the key to success.
2. Your site should have a Unique Selling Proposition (USP). -> Your blog should be unique.
3. Think of the users first, search engine second. -> Think for your reader and then the search engines
4. No link farming.
5. After launching the site, resist the temptation of checking the site regularly on Search Engine Results Page (SERP).
6. Link exchanges are not necessary. In some instances, it is beneficial but in terms of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), it has no value.
7. Domain name does not matter in SEO.

Google Penalize Sites that Sell Links

This is one another buzz in the blogosphere as well as in the SEO community, the Page Rank update by Google that had happen this month of November. Google dropped visible the PR of many blogs and mainstream news sites presumably as a penalty for selling links.

Should Google penalize sites/blogs that sell links?

Nobody really knows, except for certain why Google dropped PR for these sites, but it certainly looks like an extension of last PR update. This time, Google targeted some well-known sites and blogs in the world of marketing research and mainstream news too.

1. Google is Justified
This should come as no surprise, after all, Google warned us. Paid links also affect the quality of its search results ... It is their search engine, and they can do what they want in order to keep it up and even improvement it.

2. Google is out of Control.
Google also sells links and should not penalize the others for selling them too. Why should Google be able to tell me how to connect and whom to link to? How does their algorithm know that I received payment for a link? Google is simply out to crush the competition.

3. Denial And Deflection
This is only part of a set of page rank adjustment. Nobody should pay attention to PR anyway, it has nothing to do with the value of your content.

Is Google justified by the lowering of the page rank of the sites that sell links because it messes with their search results? Or is Google just out of control and simply protecting its turf as some have suggested?
