Its this time of the year again which we are about to take the Med Tech Medical Technologist Board Exam this month. I know most of us will be nervous on taking this exam because this is our future, our career and our life. I hope we all pass this exam this month September 2008. Me and my other friends will be going to take this exam and i am taking this one seriously so that i will pass this one. Donts on Onpage Optimization

There are many factors why Google would ban your website. I think these two are some reasons why Google would ban your site. There is the onpage and an offpage optimization. When you say onpage, it is something that you did on your website, somewhat like editing the colors and something like that. While the offpage is what you did outside your website and optimize it to get a better ranking on the search engines. So, what are the donts on onpage optimization that will cause your website to get banned on Google?

The following are the donts:

• Hidden Text

• Alt Image spamming

• Meta tag spamming

• And Title tag spamming

What is hidden Text? Hidden Text is simply text that users can't see when they visit your webpage. Some webmasters will do this so that they can add keywords throughout their webpage without it interfering with what the visitors actually see. Yet, the search engines can still see hidden text. For example, let's say you have a white background on your website. If you wanted to hide text, you would simply make the color of your text white (#FFFFFF) and users couldn't see it.

What is Image Spamming? This is another way that people will try to cram keywords into their website, allowing search engines to see their keywords, but not allowing visitors to notice any difference in their website. Just like this one.

What is Meta tag Spamming? So, don’t do these. This will get your website banned. Got it? Nuf said.

Waterfall Model

As a software engineer, many of us will encounter the word Waterfall Model. In Software Engineering, there a a lot of life cycle model that is being used. One One of the models is the Waterfall. Waterfall Model is the most basic Life-Cycle model. It is developed by Winston Royce in the early 1970. Waterfall model describe that in software development can be thought as a simple sequence of phases. Each phase has a set of well defined goals and activities. The important contribution of the waterfall model is for management. It enables management to track development progress.

In a waterfall model, each phase must be completed in its entirety before the next phase can begin. At the end of each phase, a review takes place to determine if the project is on the right path and whether or not to continue or discard the project. The phases do not overlap in a waterfall model.

Whenever i saw a toothpick it reminds me of my aunt and her farm girl maid. the story goes..

My aunt, Vicky used to shop twice every month for their household consumptions. She shop for foods, clothes, can goods, kitchen ware and other stuff needed in their house. I remember that time that she also bought some toothpicks so that they can used it everyday after meals. After a week, she noticed that the toothpicks have depleted rapidly. And everyday she noticed that the the toothpicks are almost gone. That was the time when she wonder, how could a 6 people in the house use the toothpicks and have depleted rapidly? Then she ask every person in their house including their farm girl maid. At first she ask her children, guys, do you know where our toothpicks goes? do you used it every time? The children answered no. They told their mom that they don't used toothpicks. Then lastly, she ask their farm girl maid with the same question. The farm girl responds yes. "Yes, i usually used the toothpicks but when i use them, i makes sure that i returned them to its bottle." LOL! My aunt was shock as she hear those answer. She told me that she got goosebumps upon hearing those answer. Then my aunt throw all of the toothpicks left. LOL!
