Then you need to get the LED faucet light attachment from ThinkGeek. You can activate any faucet in your house as a stream fantasia of techie-bliss in minutes. How does it work? The Day Mr. P. Niss asked for a Raise

I, Mr. P. Niss, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons:
I do physical labor.
I work at great depths.
I plunge headfirst into everything I do.
I do not get weekends or public holidays off.
I work in a damp environment.
I work in a dark workplace that has poor ventilation.
I work in high temperatures.
My work exposes me to contagious diseases.

Sincerely,
P. Niss

The Response:

Dear P. Niss:
After assessing your request, and considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons:
You do not work 8 hours straight.
You fall asleep after brief work periods.
You do not always follow the orders of the management team. You do not stay in your designated area and are often seen visiting other locations.
You do not take initiative - you need to be pressured and stimulated in order to start working.
You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift. You don't always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the correct protective clothing.
You will retire well before you are 65.
You are unable to work double shifts.
You sometimes leave your designated work area before you have completed assigned task.
And if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering and exiting the workplace carrying two suspicious-looking bags.

Sincerely, V. Gina

Blogs and Search Engines

Why blog? I think blog is for everybody. For everyone who wants to read a lot, for those people who loves to surf the net and to met other people as well. Everybody can benefit from it. People who like to learn, people like to hear what you think and people who like opinions. So how does can somebody create a good blog and be a successful blogger?

I have read and searched for some Internet marketing professionals, which I think are credible and offer free advice. And i have learned from them to focus to these things and consider the following.

1. Content is King -> The content of your blog is the key to success.
2. Your site should have a Unique Selling Proposition (USP). -> Your blog should be unique.
3. Think of the users first, search engine second. -> Think for your reader and then the search engines
4. No link farming.
5. After launching the site, resist the temptation of checking the site regularly on Search Engine Results Page (SERP).
6. Link exchanges are not necessary. In some instances, it is beneficial but in terms of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), it has no value.
7. Domain name does not matter in SEO.

Definition of Software Life-Cycle

In the IEEE Standard Glossary of Software Engineering Terminology the Software Life-Cycle is: The period of time that starts when a software product is conceived and ends when the product is no longer available for use. The software Life-Cycle typically includes a requirements phase, design phase, implementation phase, test phase, installation and check-out phase, operation and maintenance phase, and sometimes, retirement phase. (IEEE, 1995)

Software Life-Cycle Model is the blueprint of activities that occur during software development. Some software Life-Cycle has a series of phases which help managing the development of the project. It helps the developers understand the basic activities and characteristics of the project during development. It describe the period from the time a software product is conceived, and ending when the product no longer performs the functions for which it was designed. The software Life-Cycle is typically decomposed into various phases, such as requirements elicitation, analysis, design, programming, testing, installation and maintenance.

Google Penalize Sites that Sell Links

This is one another buzz in the blogosphere as well as in the SEO community, the Page Rank update by Google that had happen this month of November. Google dropped visible the PR of many blogs and mainstream news sites presumably as a penalty for selling links.

Should Google penalize sites/blogs that sell links?

Nobody really knows, except for certain why Google dropped PR for these sites, but it certainly looks like an extension of last PR update. This time, Google targeted some well-known sites and blogs in the world of marketing research and mainstream news too.

1. Google is Justified
This should come as no surprise, after all, Google warned us. Paid links also affect the quality of its search results ... Google has every right to take measures to protect the integrity of its Search Engine Results Page (SERPs). Lowering the PR of those websites who sell links, levels the playing field for all those who don't sell. It is their search engine, and they can do what they want in order to keep it up and even improvement it.

2. Google is out of Control.
Google also sells links and should not penalize the others for selling them too. Why should Google be able to tell me how to connect and whom to link to? How does their algorithm know that I received payment for a link? Google is simply out to crush the competition.

3. Denial And Deflection
This is only part of a set of page rank adjustment. Nobody should pay attention to PR anyway, it has nothing to do with the value of your content.

Is Google justified by the lowering of the page rank of the sites that sell links because it messes with their search results? Or is Google just out of control and simply protecting its turf as some have suggested?

Piggy Bank That Explodes

It is one another unique inventions by the Japanese, an exploding piggy bank. The “Savings Bomb,” which goes on sale in Japan next week, “explodes” and scatters coins if users fail to save for a long time, toy manufacturer TOMY Co Ltd … designed as a cartoon-style, ball-shaped black bomb with a skull and crossbones logo — lights up, makes a noise, shakes violently and scatters coins if it is not topped up for a long time.
“Users must pick up and collect the scattered coins and reflect on their laziness,” the Japanese company said..

A piggy bank that explodes—Now this is what you can call “negative reinforcement” to the extreme. Tomy Savings BombTM goes on sale in Japan for 2,922 ¥en ($22 USD). Now this is the kind of piggy bank i want to have this Christmas.

Spin

This image of a dancer in a perpetual spin can be interpreted two different ways - she can either be spinning in a clockwise direction, or in a counter-clockwise direction (imagine her spinning on a clock face). Some people's perception may favor one direction over the other, and some people may see her change directions from time to time. The fact is that the image is a constant 34-frame loop representing 1 full revolution of the dancer, and no trickery is used to make her seem to be spinning one way or the other at any point in time. The effect is entirely caused by the perception of the viewer as he or she interprets the ambiguous frames where the spinning dancer's body appendages (legs and arms) cross over each other.
